"Kathleen never imagined she would have to change her life, much less become an expert on change. In 1998 she was living in Tuscany when her 15-year relationship abruptly ended. Suddenly, she needed to start over. She returned to the States, found a new home, and hired a Feng Shui consultant to help her set-up her space to support the new woman she wanted to become—and to help her discover her lost sense of self, set new goals, and stay on track.
Using the principles of Feng Shui, Kathleen channeled energy in her new home in the areas of “Knowledge and Self-Cultivation,” the sector of the home dealing with discovering your authentic self. Two months later, she was back in school learning how to help others live more harmoniously and abundantly. Encouraged by the speed and ease of the shifts happening in her life, Kathleen used Feng Shui to support more changes.
She received advanced certification at the Western School of Feng Shui and was cross-trained in BTB Feng Shui and Environmental Design. Kathleen co-trained in the Environmental Design School an advanced Feng Shui course in 2004, “Bridging the Gap between Interior Designers and Feng Shui.” She is currently deepening her study through the Golden Gate School of Feng Shui to add the complex classical Feng Shui training to broaden her services. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication at San Francisco State University. Kathleen’s multi-disciplinary background brings together Western Communication theories of relationships and the mystical Eastern Philosophy of helping you find your optimal inner self so you can excel in all your endeavors.
Kathleen is currently producing a multimedia project of interviews of seven world renowned Feng Shui Masters, entitled “Illuminating Feng Shui: Seen Through Masterful Eyes” Her commitment to education lead her to this enriching project that she want to share with you.
Kathleen founded Body Mind Environments™ on the premise that when you treat your body as a temple, fill your mind with the best possible materials, and live in a space that is harmonious and supports who you are or want to become, things will happen with ease and grace. She now considers herself a “Spiritual Change Agent.” She loves to empower her clients, bringing enthusiasm back into their lives and to live their higher purpose.
Kathleen believes that by learning the concepts of Feng Shui and making it a lifestyle, you can bring about the changes you want in your life while also preparing yourself for the unexpected changes life can bring. She is passionate about changing this planet for the better, one space at a time.
Because Kathleen lives a Feng Shui lifestyle, she has time to play and enjoy her friends and family. She enjoys travel, especially weekend jaunts in California’s wine country, which is more about a culinary tour than wine tasting. Kathleen also loves to cook creating scrumptious and healthy meals. Good thing she loves to dance, especially Ballroom and West Coast Swing a few times per week to work off those extra calories.
